“What if?” Read about this college senior’s approach to OCD (1 min read)

by | Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Robin Roblee-Strauss is a student filmmaker, who has been struggling through OCD for several years.

For his senior project, he will be compiling interviews with people who also have OCD, and experts in the field, particularly around the theme of intolerance of uncertainty.

He says, “A larger picture emerges with a philosophical discussion around how one can live a meaningful life in the midst of the uncertainty that surrounds human existence.”

Robin has been involved in the back scenes of the OCD community for several years, interviewing some of the pioneering OCD clinicians and researchers, working with media platforms that connect experts to the broad network, and attending the IOCDF conference to gather contributors for his film.

“True confession: I procrastinate! With The ACT Workbook for the Anxious Procrastinator, Dr. Z. helped me understand what drives my procrastination, and gave me practical tools to break the pattern.

This workbook goes beyond a surface-level approach to procrastination, addressing the deeper internal barriers, so we procrastinators can finally make real progress on those aa, looming tasks.”

– Dr. Debbie Sorensen, Ph.D.
