There can be a lot of worry and anxiety in the process of finding help for your child. Knowing what to look for, if it will be effective, and what to expect are all common concerns and worth keeping in mind. No matter where you seek treatment, you’ll want a level of treatment that is appropriate to the severity of your child’s symptoms: if your kid isn’t able to leave the house, will the therapy come to you? Some cases benefit from more than weekly sessions, where progress is able to be reinforced through more frequent meetings– is that something that you would be open to, and something that the provider offers? Any treatment of your child should also include you– because you are their parents, and a consistent resource, treatment should bring you on board with ways to support their treatment and facilitate change.

At EBBTC, we offer flexible therapy appointments, including weekends and home visits, and treat clients in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with more frequent and/or longer sessions for better outcomes.
