TELEMENTAL HEALTH IS AVAILABLE.

scream-lgThe East Bay Behavior Therapy Center (EBBTC) is pleased to announce the following groups in Walnut Creek for January 2014:

Anger: From furious to curious (adults)

Is anger affecting your relationships?

Anger is a natural response but it could become problematic at times. This time-limited group will help you recognize how angry behaviors have become the cause of disruption in your life in general and interpersonal relationships in particular. You will learn how to map angry situations, respond to anger triggers effectively, engage in empathic conversations when dealing with conflict, regulate your affect when triggered, and furthermore, engage in behaviors that are consistent with your interpersonal values.

Please keep in mind that this is not a traditional anger management group that teaches only “time out” or relaxation techniques. The content of this group goes significantly beyond and it incorporates evidence-based skills that will make a difference when dealing with anger.

Where would the groups take place?
43 Quail Court. Walnut Creek, CA 94596

What are the fees?
The fee is $70.- per group session. Two payments of $350.- are required. First payment is required upon registration and the second one after 6 weeks of treatment.

What’s the starting date?
January 27th, 2014.
