Starting February 13th: 6-week training with Dr. Z (1 min read)

by | Behavior change

We’re looking forward to the start of the ACT training Dr. Z will be teaching in a little over the month!

This 6-week course runs from February 13th until March 20th, every Wednesday from 10:30am-12:30pm PDT (1:30-3:30 EDT). The first half of the course will focus on addressing emotional regulation issues from an ACT and Emotion Regulation Training perspective. The second half will focus on OCD and anxiety and conducting values-based exposures by integrating Exposure-Response Prevention and ACT.

ACT is uniquely suited to be paired with ERP and ERT to address anxiety, OCD, and emotion regulation problems. This course will give you boots-on-the-ground interventions for working with therapeutic challenges such as exposure, choice point, and a roadmap for emotion regulation skills.

“True confession: I procrastinate! With The ACT Workbook for the Anxious Procrastinator, Dr. Z. helped me understand what drives my procrastination, and gave me practical tools to break the pattern.

This workbook goes beyond a surface-level approach to procrastination, addressing the deeper internal barriers, so we procrastinators can finally make real progress on those aa, looming tasks.”

– Dr. Debbie Sorensen, Ph.D.
