It’s with great pleasure that the East Bay Behavior Therapy Center announces its annual groups in the Lamorinda/ Walnut Creek area for August 2013:

Anger: From furious to curious (adults)
Starting date:
 Monday, August 19, 2013.
Duration: 
10 weeks.
Description:  Anger is a natural response but it could become problematic at times. This time-limited group will help participants recognize when anger has become the cause of disruption in their life in general and interpersonal relationships in particular.

Social anxiety (adults)
Starting date: Wednesday, August 21, 2013

Duration: 10 weeks
Description: The first part of the treatment will provide participants with psycho-education about anxiety, values identification exercises, and preparation for exposure practices. The second part of the treatment will include real-life exposures (situational exposures) that target the individual needs of each client based on their exposure hierarchies.

Living with people: dealing with chronic interpersonal problems
Starting date: Monday, August 19, 2013

Duration: 10 weeks
Description: This is a unique opportunity for participants to identify and understand how specific interpersonal behavioral patterns affect their relationships and learn a new behavioral repertoire that is consistent with their interpersonal values.
